Hello Yoga Community
I hope this newsletter finds you well and that your mood is bright and warm unlike Melbourne weather at the moment
In this newsletter I am shining a spotlight on Chiang Mai, Thailand. Next year in August, will be the third time that I will run a retreat at this beautiful, organic farm in Chiang Mai.
The overseas yoga retreats are a 7 night retreat and are an immersive experience. Google tells me that “Immersive experiences draw you into their reality, putting you onto the same level as the action or environment. Inviting you to walk into worlds both beloved and brand new. Immersive experiences encourage you to lose and sometimes, even discover, yourself in them.”
I have been blessed to have found the most peaceful landscape in Chiang Mai, owned by spiritually motivated people who have welcomed us into their property with open hearts. It’s very difficult to put in words what this place and this 7 night experience really means. Instead of telling you about it, I asked some of the people who have joined me in the last two years, to send me their favourite photos along with a caption. Here’s what I received.

This is one of my favourite photos because of the lush scenery and grey sky and there is a path literally and figuratively to peace

The sound bath space evokes stillness and peace for me.

Susie’s note- the picture above is also one of my personal favourite images etched into my heart. We pass this view to walk to the indoor yoga Shala. Many times I would stop at this spot and savour the moment
Forever grateful and humbled.
Some people just sent through pictures that conveyed a thousand words.
