Sassy Yoga- What’s coming up!

Hi Hutch,

Happy Monday!

I hope this newsletter finds you well and you had a lovely weekend.

The last Sound Bath was sold out. There is something about the colder weather that makes people turn inward. Following on from this, Sunday evening Sound Baths are a perfect end to the weekend and a great opportunity to recalibrate and connect with your calmness before embarking on the week ahead.

The next Sound Bath is Sunday July 19 at 6.30pm

Sound Bath Experience

As the body settles, the nervous system has an opportunity to shift from “doing” into “being,” helping to reduce stress, settle a busy mind, and encourage better sleep. You don’t need any experience, you just need to lie back, relax and enjoy.

In House Yoga Yoga Day Retreat-23 August 2026

If you’ve ever wondered what yoga is beyond the poses, I’d love you to join me for the next In House Day Retreat in the Sassy Yoga Studio.

The day will be split into different sections where we will focus on physical asanas, pranayama, meditation and shivasana, but for the first time we will also spend some time discussing the deeper intention of Yoga, beyond the physical practice.

We will end the day with a beautiful sound bath and a light lunch is also included.

This isn’t about flexibility or advanced postures. It’s about discovering the practices that have supported physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing for thousands of years.

Essential Oils

Another thing that I use more in winter, are the On Guard, Doterra products. I love to diffuse them and also use the room spray.

On Guard combines Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus and Rosemary essential oils. These oils have long histories of traditional use and are chosen for their cleansing and uplifting aromatic qualities. Many people diffuse On Guard at home or in their work space, to create a fresh, comforting environment, particularly during winter.

On Guard has a rich and inspiring blend of oils which combine to make the aroma, perfect for any room.

  • Wild Orange
🍊
  • : Rich in limonene, Wild Orange has an uplifting, fresh aroma that many people find energising and mood-boosting. It also has cleansing properties, which is why it’s commonly used in natural household cleaners.
  • Clove
🌿
  • : Clove is high in eugenol, a compound known for its powerful antioxidant activity. Traditionally, clove has been used to support oral hygiene and general wellness, and its warm, spicy aroma is both comforting and invigorating.
  • Cinnamon Bark
🌰
  • : Cinnamon bark contains cinnamaldehyde, which gives it its distinctive spicy scent. It has strong cleansing properties and is widely used in natural cleaning products. Aromatically, it evokes warmth and comfort, especially during the cooler months.
  • Eucalyptus
🌱
  • : Known for its fresh, camphor-like aroma, eucalyptus promotes a feeling of clear, open breathing and is often diffused to create a refreshing environment. It’s a favourite during seasonal changes because of its crisp, revitalising scent.
  • Rosemary
🌿
  • : Rosemary has long been associated with mental clarity and focus. Its herbaceous aroma is stimulating and refreshing, making it a popular choice for supporting concentration and creating an uplifting atmosphere.

Together, these oils create a blend that is warm, spicy, and citrusy. As well as its beautiful aroma, the combination provides natural cleansing properties and makes On Guard a popular choice for diffusing, household cleaning, hand care, and everyday wellness rituals. You may have noticed I also have the hand foam in the Sassy Yoga bathroom. These oils and products are sold from the studio. Ask me if you want more information or want to purchase.

I am overstocked with oils at the moment, and am having a sale. Ask me which essential oils you are interested in, so I can give you a competitive price.
